A masterwork of a horror comic. Written with depth and complexity, Infidel is a political and heartfelt narrative that has things to say and delivers them with nuance and realism rather than being heavy-handed in its themes. At the same time, it is a legitimately frightening horror story of haunting and survival. Writing and visuals together work to build this entire narrative into a compelling and powerful graphic novel.
