I actually enjoyed this book more than the first. I feel like it was a little faster paced. The plot was good with a little more action, but also uneven and jumpy. It bounced back and forth between two plots and at some points was difficult to follow. The technical jargon was a bit excessive too. I liked some characters, others were really annoying. Murderbot confounds me sometimes too as a lot of the times it’s words and actions don’t match. It acts more human in this book, but it’s humanness is depicted as either a moody teenager or a scared child. This is not my favorite series, but I will probably keep reading it because the stories are short, quick and mildly entertaining.
