Friggin' awesome. One of the best examples of fantasy trilogy writing I've read; so many of the relationships and concepts set up in the first book come to delicious fruition in this one. Be warned - this book is (mostly) about slavery and bloodsport right from page 1, so if either of those things make you squeamish, you probably won't enjoy this story. O and so much intrigue and wisdom between all the blood! Loved it.
