The House Across the Lake by Riley Sager

In the worst sense of the phrase: what the fuck did I just read? I'm not sure what bothered me more, the abysmal writing style or the G*d-awful plot. (There's a limit to how much anyone can suspend their disbelief. This book is waaaaay past that limit. Even in fiction, some semblance of logic ought to be maintained!)
