Fast Girl: A Life Spent Running From Madness by Suzy Favor Hamilton

3.0

I was recommended this book by my favourite person who works at the bookstore that I go to. She had said this was the best memoir that she had ever read, she described the book as unputdownable. I figured I had to give it a chance. I like to read memoirs/biographies every once and a while to change things up. I did read this book in 2 days, but I would not say it is the best memoir that I have ever read. It was okay, there were definitely parts where I found myself skimming. This book does definitely bring perspective to the illness and gave me more knowledge about bipolar disease. It isn’t a book that I would recommend to anyone.
