The ending felt abrupt for me and I was upset that the heroine's friends could be so petty. I took Anne's actions way more personally than it felt like Cat did and couldn't figure out why she'd even talk to them after the fact. I know they're going to get their own stories after this and will read, but they have a long way to go to redeem themselves in my eyes.
