The Day I Lost You by Alex Sinclair

4.0

This book is fun, thrilling and difficult to put down. I realise this sounds like an advertisement but it is not. The atmosphere is amazing, the fact that the entire book, which is essentially about running and hiding, is set in a single apartment complex only adds to the intensity and intrigue of the novel instead of taking from it. The side characters are well fleshed out and I fell for the story completely, not seeing the end coming until exactly the right moment.
