This book is definitely for people who are interested in the horse world but don’t know enough about horses to be annoyed with the lack of reality in this story. The author has some familiarity with barn life so she may have dumbed it down to make it more accessible for non horse people. It is compelling enough to keep reading but the writing is very average as is the plot. It’s a decent book to read before bed as you won’t be tempted to stay up all night to finish.
