3.5⭐️ Boy oh boy! Was this a roller coaster. At certain parts I felt like I was reading the love child of psychological thriller and action movie. With all the lies, twists, and turns. There are so many subplots and little details. I’ve updated along the way with my thoughts, but here are a few more.

I loved the concept of the book, I haven’t read something like it with all the elements incorporated. At times, I forgot they were in college and in their early twenties. They lived their lives like adults with no responsibilities, which I guess is like living in your twenties. So many characters pissed me off. Valerie and Matt got what they deserved. Ryat had a lot of questionable moments. However, I’d still like a night with him. All the blatant red flags kept me questioning myself for being attracted to him.

Blake also had her fair share moments of getting on my nerves. I understand with her situation, there’s a lot of confusion and crazy shit happening, so I understand the occasional doubt. However, she was constantly doubting everything any chance she got. She wanted to be part of his world with the Lords, but she didn’t belong in that life. Sometimes I wonder if it would’ve been better for her to stay in the dark about things.

The pregnancy, with twins!!!! You two are young adults, yes you both have the financial support to raise kids, but that’s about it. I don’t think they were ready to have kids, but they did and figured it out since the second epilogue is 18 years later.
