• i read this once and was able to finish it a few years ago but not this time
• it was much more sci-fi than paranormal which i wasn’t a huge fan of
• the main character was living such a fucked up situation with abusive foster parents and she just didn’t stand up to them at all
• also her power of persuading other people to do what she wants made me feel uncomfortable to say the least
• i am also just not a fan of post-apocalyptic worlds it is very depressing
• the FMC was also basically forced into going this school obviously for special people but nobody even told her she was special which was very frustrating
• it just pissed me off in a lot of ways and i couldn’t get myself to read any farther
