The Hollow Gods
by A.J. Vrana
THIS. WAS. EVERYTHING. I. WANTED. IN. A. BOOK.
Let me first start by saying that because I listened to this as an audiobook it didn't have my full attention, and while I still got the main points of the story I want to go back and reread this as a physical book so I can get more absorbed into it.
This was spooky, this was fantasy, this was paranormal, this was truly awesome. It was like Inuyasha, Paranoia Agent, The Starless Sea, and Little Red Riding Hood were mashed together into one book and STILL had more twists and turns of other worldly aspects thrown in.
The only faults I can critique is that I was really tired of almost every other chapter ending in someone falling into a black abyss and it did take a while for the plot and ending to come together. I can't wait to get more into this world and see what is going to end up happening.
Also P.S. - I think I might have a crush on Kai
