The Angel's Game by Carlos Ruiz Zafón

I'm almost halfway through and every time I pick up this book I feel like I'm reading a story where a bunch of people are contributing a few pages at a time, but they can only see the last sentence written by the person before them. When each has a turn, s/he continues the thread s/he was working on the last time, but nothing actually makes sense when it is all put together. I'm only 46% done with the book, but it is time to move on.
