All My Love by Daisy Jane
3.0

All My Love is the first book in the Twisted Sisters series. It is a slow burn, age gap, obsessed/stalker romance. This book has some dark undertones, a fair amount of spice and several possible triggers.

The thing I have always loved about Daisy Jane books is the way she takes everyday people, like mechanics or your next door neighbor, and gives them unexpected spice. This round we get Dolly, an over the top, young girl next door who is in love with her neighbor. At first I was a little uncomfortable with the things Dolly does in this book, she goes above and beyond, puts in years of work to secure a relationship with a much older man. I devour books where men do anything and everything to get the woman, but it took me awhile to be on board when it was a woman doing the over the top things. I love that Daisy Jane was able to take me on an emotional and self awareness journey like that, without making this a sappy read. I loved the way all the characters, from the sisters to Hudson and Bear interacted with each other. I did not like how much time was spent on build up in this story, at times the journey felt lost or off on way too many side ventures. This book was different than any other book I have ever read. I appreciated that, at least by the end of the book.
