I wanted to love this book. I thought I would, I love cozy books, and so many people recomended it. But I just didn't.

I feel so bad saying this, but it didn't feel cozy, it felt boring. It wasn't that the stakes were low, it was more that every problem got fixed without any type of consequences or follow up.

There isn't even a story really for most of the book, and when we get it it is handled kind of dissapointing ly.

I loved the diversity, it was clearly important and handled well for the most part.

I do want to say that I realise that this probably says more about me than the book, since it has so many fans. I'm just putting this here for the people who maybe didn't like it as much, so we know we're not alone.
