Anita de Monte Laughs Last
by Xochitl Gonzalez
3.5 stars ⭐️
I really loved the Cuban heritage of Anita and the intertwined connecting in 1998 with Raquel. I despised Jack yet loved how Anita was would haunt him as a punishment. The parallel between Anita/Jack and Raquel/Nick was noticed from the very beginning. It was hard to understand the artistic aspect without visual pictures for me. While the ending was satisfying I felt like there could have been more closure.
