"History huh?"
I don't know what to say about this book. It made my 16 year old bisexual, brown self swell with love and happiness and I am on a bookhangover.
It started with:
"Straight people he thinks, probably don't spend this much time convincing themselves they are straight."
And for godssake how can a quote feel so right and relatable.
I loved the representation of strong women of power and boys without the toxic masculinity.
I loved the Mexican representation because again I am brown (South Asian) myself and I barely see people like us in books.
It made perfect sense for Alex's end speech to make me cry so hard that I got a headache.
I dunno what to write about this book other than the fact that it probably gave me a heartburn and it'll be really hard for me to read cis, white books again.
PS. I loved Shaan (fellow Indian) and Zahra's small moments and wish they get a story
