Cute book- ultimately it is fodder that I fill my time with while I wait for a book release due this week. One that I have been promised since December, but hey, who's counting. (ME- I AM)
The title caught me as well as the blurb- seems really funny. A vampire forced in his bond. But for some reason it didn't really click with me. Humorous but not laugh out loud funny for me.
Yes, some puns were clever, dialogue was witty and the story was fast paced, but it was missing something for me. I didn't get the deep connection between the characters and there certainly were a lot of side characters to keep track of.
Set in Savannah (been there) so I could imagine the spooky house tours, graveyards and vampire haunts.
