There’s only one thing that’s guaranteed when we are born, and that’s that we will someday die. But what if we knew when that day was? Chloe Benjamin explores that idea in the Immortalists when 4 siblings are told by a gypsy the exact day they’ll die. I learned a lot about the way I myself process religion and death from this book. I saw a lot of myself in these characters, and can honestly say it’s now one of my favorite books of all time. To quote Emma Roberts, ‚ “It’s a delicious read.”
