A story about growing up, confronting yours fears, & coming to terms with your past. Wise expertly weaves two perspectives and several timelines into a beautiful tapestry of a story, keeping it engaging until the very end.
An enjoyable read, with elements of mystery, and though there are some difficult parts, it doesn’t get too dark where you have to take a break from reading. It grounds the reality of an experience such as Wendy’s in the time which it is set, while keeping the wistful, mysterious fantasy that is Neverland. 10/10 would recommend & read again.
