for "late in life poetry", a subgenre of poetry i so dearly hate, this was extraordinarily good. alot of poets go into an annoyance of generalizing within their last poetry collections but adnan stayed poetic and not horribly repetitive within this task. i cant wait to read more of her poetic work in the future, maybe earlier work as it will not fall into the category of trying to make sense of it all poetry.
