Oh. My. God. Homegoing. This one very well may end up being my favorite book I read in 2022. It was AMAZING. It was so elegant, graceful, thoughtful, poignant, engaging, warm. It was so much that was good and illuminating, and it broke my heart on every page and yet kept me invested and interested in learning more about the parallels between the lines of descendants. I haven't read Yaa Gyasi's Transcendent Kingdom yet, but I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on a copy.

I absolutely recommend Homegoing
