i saw a lot of people saying how they loved this book so i thought i'd give this a try myself. it'd be messed up to say i liked it lol so i'll just say it was well done. not my favourite, as torture books most often aren't, but this was definitely f-ed up. make sure to check trigger warnings!
i admired gia's strength. if i had to go through this myself, i would definitely break apart. the things that poor woman endured!
it was also weird reading this book because the main guy's name was nathan and my boyfriend has the same name so it was a bit unsettling ngl. 😂
the writing style wasn't the best but it kept my attention and was really fast paced. the pages just flew by and the chapters were short so i always appreciate that.
during the 1/2 part of the book i thought it was fine, it took a while for things to pick up but then 2/2 part ???? i was gagging, i was squirming and telling my boyfriend all about it so we could be disgusted together. ðŸ˜
i absolutely loved the message the author gave us in the author's note and the story itself. women genuinely rule the world and you can't tell me otherwise.
i do recommend it if you can stomach body gore and abuse. i wouldn't recommend this to just anyone though, so check the trigger warnings first!
