Good-Bye, Mr. Chips by James Hilton

5.0

I have always been a super fan of the old movie with Robert Donat and Greer Garson so I was really excited to read this story. (I am not a fan of the one with Peter O'Toole, sorry).

It was short and sweet, filled with romantic stories of the life of someone that most people wouldn't think twice about. I wish a few of the small details were preserved in the movie, but I found that the two were very complementary to each other.

It only added to my appreciation and general love I have had for this story for many years.
