Okay, but I've never been more glad to reread a book. While I first read it I found Phury's book to be boring. Why? I literally have no idea, because there's so much going on. There's literally so much of everything... all of it good! All of it absolutely amazing.
I think my favorite part about this book though, was Phury's struggle with his mental health and addiction. Along with that, Cormia's growth and character development — finding herself and discovering who she is.
All the shit going down with Qhuinn, Blay and John was just a cherry on top. Boy, I forgot how much I love these three and their friendship.
Ugh, this book deserves way more hype than fandom gives it. Such an amazing slow burn romance with two people struggling to find themselves and openbup to love. Topped with some gay angst, friends being there for friends and incredible plot twists.
Raising my rating from 4 stars to 5 becuase this book absolutely deserves it!
