The Curse of Chalion by Lois McMaster Bujold
5.0

"I would storm heaven for you, if I knew where it was."

This is now on my list of all-time favourite fantasy novels.

It's such a great story of tragedy, and loyalty, and love. Cazaril is a hero that you can't help but cheer for, and while I would say that it takes about 100 pages for the action to get going, once it starts it does not let you go.

Rarely do I end a book with such an elated feeling, there is nothing I would change about it. A true perfect ending..
