"YOU ARE THE WARDEN."

Harry's back, motherfuckers. And people are taking notice. I'm glad people, at least in the Winter Court, are quite aware of how dangerous Harry can be. Even though we know how silly he can be at times, and how downright afraid he is of his enemies, his enemies surely don't know that.

Love the direct dealings within the Faerie Court. There's just... so much deception. So fucking much. And I love it. I'm usually not a huge fan of politics, but faerie politics I can get behind. And, of course, we get to pursue the infamous Maeve in this one. Lovely indeed.

Back in Chicago, Harry almost immediately gets attacked by everyone he runs into. Luckily, his apprentice, Molly, was anticipating his resurgence and had prepared for it quite adequately. Heading back to Demonreach, where there appears to be a gathering of energies on a scale that could detonate and destroy a good portion of the United States. Harry finds out the haunting reason for the immense collection of magical energies on the island: it is a prison for the most powerful beings.

A meeting of the minds: turns out, the Parasite Harry was learning about (that's inside of him) might also be inside of Mab, and she's the one who's threatening to destroy the world. Huh. Also, the Ladies don't seem to realize that Harry has this Parasite, unless I misunderstood something about that exchange. Huh.
