If I could give a 1/2 star I would! This was a very confusing story of a sister Judy who basically was under direction of her sister her whole life. Her sister Alice was widowed and beautiful and got a traveling man to wed her. The man Nathaniel clearly wanted best of both worlds as he convince Judith he wanted her and loved her and they’d run away. Judith fell to his sexual subduction. All the while being persuaded by a traveler to shape shifted in the evenings into a wolf. The story end abruptly as she finishes having sex with Nathaniel after telling him he is a liar, as he sleeps, then with the wolf figure coming in from the cold to get warm by the fire while Nathaniel slept? So very very odd!
