This autobiography by Mike Massimino is an absolute joy to read. Mass, as he is known as, has a way of making complex ideas and processes easy to understand and his enthusiasm for space comes across vividly in the book. There were no weak parts of the book at all. From the stories about his early life and upbringing led right into how he became who he is; failures and successes., wins and losses. The chapters about astronaut training where fascinating and informative, stories I had not heard of in other books. And the personal account of the Columbia disaster is heartbreaking and inspiring. I highly recommend.
