This story was lovely. Easy to read and full of emotion. It was an emotional subject to cover, but handled so well it didn't feel full of angst despite the fact that I actually felt quite desperate when the two characters spent some time apart to "think things over". Despite knowing the prompt had asked for a happy ending the writer still made me worry for a little while.
I like that this was about the deep connection between two people and not just about the sex. It was about their finding a way to be together that wasn't focused on the bedroom which so many stories don't seem to do.
I love that Bridger and Stone stayed together and found a happy compromise, that their love for each other was enough to overcome something that could have easily caused their break up.
Too many relationships in stories and in real life, are based on sex alone. Theirs most definitely isn't. Despite their different, or rather, similar needs in the bedroom the foundation for their relationship was already formed and the depth of their bond made them want to work it all out. That's how relationships should be.
