That was excellent. Totally drew me in. I loved all of the lore, and each new aspect just added to it. I especially liked when Maniye realised she wasn't the centre of everyone's world. You got a real sense of her growing up, and coming into her power. I loved the way the stories wove together and things made sense. It never dragged for me. Really glad I took a chance on this, and I'll be reading the rest.
