love the ambition of all the women through 3 generations and how they brought women to the for front of mostly male driven air support during pivotal moments during current and past wars in the book. the characters are interesting and all have a story of their own with life challenges and difficult decisions. their hardship of finding love and a place to belong made me feel for them, but each one persevered. I very much enjoyed this book and would recommend.
