So, this book started off strong. it really did. I was excited and ready to dive into Ulla's story. The first page was captivating and the first chapter or so made me cry with familiarity. But then....the familiartiy became repetition and blandness. And nothing really happened in this book. The scenes toook too long to be anything of note. Or they were too short to add anything to the richness of this book. There wasnt alot of action. If there was any action, it was passive and just not enough to keep me entralled. I just do not think this story was set up properly. The way it unfolded, slowly, trying to build up relationships...I understand the background details being necessary but they did not really help. The storyline felt static. SO much I found myself skimming to see when anything would actually occur. And by the time it did, I no longer cared. The best thing about this book was all the tribal facts at the end, lmao

Alright, that is my ramblings. If you want your own, read the book.
