Where Lightning Strikes by A.L. Jackson

4.0

It's hard to know light when all you feel is the soul sucking darkness. Joy is an illusion when all you feel is the painful reminder.

Tamar is an illusion. She wears her armor to protect herself from her demons hiding in the shadows and recesses of her mind. She presents the world with the sure fire woman who will stomp all over you. But it is just an illusion...

Lyrik knows a lot about illusions. The bad boy rocker lives his life broadcasting his own illusions.

What happens when two people hiding from everyone, can't hide from each other? What happens when they break the promises they hold dear?

Where Lightning Strikes is the flash point of a fire they never saw coming. Will it fizzle out or will they protect it and give it the air it needs to breathe and thrive?

Where Lightning Strikes is book 3 of the Bleeding Stars series. I (silly me) had books 1 and 2 on my TBR but didn't realize they are a part of this series. Having not read them yet, I can't comment on their awesomeness. I can say that you do not feel like you are playing catch up, if you start the series with this book. I will however, be reading the others ASAP. I can't wait to see how Baz and Shea got where they are in this book. But I really can't wait to see what happens next, will Shea win the $200? I hope so.

Oh, and tissues are recommended.
