Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion

5.0

I read this directly after New Hunger, which isn't recommended (see my review for New Hunger). This was quite different from the movie, but in a good way. There were parts of each that I enjoyed more than the other, but not too extreme where it ruined the experience.

What I think is fantastic is that Isaac Marion did such a great job on his first book. I was really paying attention to the way he wrote R's thoughts and actions as the book moved forward. His inner monologue improved; became more lively. I can't wait for the next book and possibly next movie.
