Snail is determined to cross the road to get to the lovely cabbage on the other side. Along the way he meets some ants, and when it starts to rain, he invites them to stay dry inside his shell and they have tea. After the storm passes, he continues on his way, only to be targeted by a hungry bird. Snail's evasive manouvers leave him dizzy, but undaunted, he determinedly keeps crawling. Unfortunately, he did get a bit turned around and ends up right back where he started. But the grateful ants come to the rescue, and bring the cabbage to him. Funny and sweet!
