Just as good as Cruel Prince!  Intrigue! Adventure!  Romance!  Broken hearts!  Betrayal!  All that stuff and more.  The plot continues in a way that feels natural and with plenty of realistic issues to confront & overcome. I am a huge fan of both Jude & Cardan even though I have my moments of frustration with Jude in this book.  But really, she is an incredibly developed character and so, of course, has to make some bad choices or feel some ridiculous feelings or self sabotage in any number of ways.  
I audiobooked this time around and again Caitlin Kelly does an amazing job.
