So Much Closer by Susane Colasanti

To be honest, I didn't really enjoy this book. I thought the protagonist was kind of an idiot when it comes to common-sense stuff, and I didn't find it realistic. In my opinion, you don't follow a guy to New York when you're in high school and he's spoken to you twice. No matter how much you think you love him, if you've never had a legitimate conversation, you probably shouldn't uproot your life to follow him. Also, I thought her friends from New Jersey were kind of bitchy, especially April. All of a sudden, April just stops being nice to Brooke? Why? That question was never answered for me, along with many others. However, I did like the writing style, and I really enjoyed both John and Sadie's characters. All in all, I would be reluctant to recommend this to someone.
