”you could rattle the stars” she whispered. “you could do anything, if only you dared”

STILL ONE OF MY FAVOURITE BOOKS. I absolutely loved rereading this book and I can’t wait to reread the rest of the series. Even though I originally wanted to reread this because I forgot who Nox was.

”we all bare scars...mine just happen to be more visible than most.”

The characters are beautifully created. Each of them have struggles and flaws but still amazing in their own ways. Celaena still remains my favourite heroine, alongside Feyre. I didn’t realise how much I actually loved Dorian as well. He’s such a gentleman and loves books. Plus Choal is still my second favourite male character.

”my name is Celaena Sardothein. But it makes no difference if my name’s Celaena or Lillian or bitch, because I’d still beat you, no matter what you like.”

After reading all the books and rereading Throne of Glass, I didn’t realise how much foreshadowing was it in. The couple of times the King glances at his ring and Celaena’s past/future.

Also I never realised how much I liked Celaena/Dorian and Chaol/Celaena’s relationship. Even though I love her with someone in the future books, these two men are still perfect for Celaena.

”with each day he felt the barriers melting. He let them melt. Because of her genuine laugh, because he caught her one afternoon sleeping with her face in the middle of a book, because he knew that she would win.”
