The Dandelion was IMMENSELY heartbreaking AND beautiful. That's what I've come to expect from a Michelle Leighton book, or more accurately a piece of art. You WILL need tissues while reading. Probably about five boxes of so. At times it felt like I was a glutton punishment for continuing reading. Neither of the characters could catch a break!!! I was honestly surprised it didn't take me longer to read through my blurry and swollen eyes, but instead I FLEW right through it. It was ALL worth it in the end though. I'm ready for Michelle's next masterpiece!!!
