Hickel expertly highlights the throughlines between the historical rise of capitalism and the accompanying planetary degradation that has led us to the climate catastrophe we currently find ourselves in. Debilitatingly insightful, and yet persistently hopeful, Less Is More is a rollercoaster of a read that leaves readers with some monumental conclusions at the end of the track.
