I really loved this. It was brilliant and so tense throughout. The ability of the author to keep the intensity of each segment was really impressive. Everything felt heavy and weighted and I enjoyed it but also, ugh, intensely creepy. I enjoyed the recurring creepy motifs and all the discussion of the sea and the really astute observations about life - not all universal - but definitely all worth observing.
