What a nightmarish, exhausting and captivating adventure. You immediately get drawn in right from the moment Ben decides to go on a quick hike. The twists and turns remain right up until the last sentences.
I definitely felt exhausted for Ben at many times and empathized a lot with him. Poor guy is put through a lot! Luckily the rough patches are followed by some more lighthearted patches.
I appreciated the creativity and uniqueness throughout the book. It was unlike anything I’ve seen before yet also reminded of me of my nightmares.
I read the first part of the book on my iPad then the second half I listened to while I cross stitched.
