This is a really great hate-to-hope for something more YA book that follows Kiran and Deen who used to date, until the relationship suddenly ended without resolution. However, when their older siblings are engaged, they are thrown together, but their pasts are coming back to haunt them. I really liked the Pakistani cultural aspects to this story, as well as the trope of dual POV and online identities, which always works for me. I also really liked Deen's story arc, which I thought was really well done. Kiran's, on the other hand, was weaker. I could see why she made the decisions she made, but they definitely were bad ones and crossed the line multiple times into seriously harmful actions, which maybe didn't get fully apologized or restituted in the storyline. Overall though, I read it in a day and really enjoyed the drama of the story.
