i honestly don’t even know what to say. i never thought i would become something of a brandon sanderson fanboy but i definitely am. this book destroyed me? any complaints or anything i might have had was totally made up for by the last two chapters. (my complaints were very insignificant don’t worry) the way this whole story and world was put together is nothing short of a masterpiece. could some things could be done better? yes, but everything else more than makes up for it. this trilogy took me about 9 months to finish (audiobooks are hard for me lol) but it was more than worth it.

vin is such a powerhouse, and watching elend grow into the leader he was meant to be was such a treat. sazed is a darling, and getting more spook was SUCH a fun part of the book, even if the kid drove me crazy sometimes lol.

to be honest i hate the way it ended, but i would hate it more if it ended any other way. anything else would have ruined the story, and so i’ll forgive. i love it but hate it so much.

now please give me some time while i grieve the end of this trilogy & figure out where to go from here.
