The Warsaw Orphan
by Kelly Rimmer
Weirdly, one of the narrators was the guy who narrated Demon Copperhead, which I finished pretty recently. I didn't recognize his voice at first because he used a totally different accent but I found similarities with the way he pronounced certain vowel sounds, and the specific way his voice went up at the ends of some sentences that weren't questions. I looked it up, thinking they might be related or from the same town or something. Nope. It was the same guy! This was probably the single most exciting part of the book for me. I can't say there was anything wrong with it but it was just okay. I don't think it's a must read by any means, but if it's there and you're bored, and you like historical fiction set in WWII, why not?
