C.S. Lewis is a brilliant writer, and most of the essays in this collection are a delight. I love reading about reading, and writing and storytelling. Since the essays are mostly on authors and their books, some of them didn't particularly interest me as I wasn't familiar with their work (though I picked up some recommendations), but overall there was much wisdom gleaned.
