How to Kill Men and Get Away With It
by Katy Brent
Where do I begin? The main character is hypocritical, insufferable and has a chronic im not like these other rich people condition while being exactly like them. Sorry the way your family made millions isn't glamorous I guess. The dialogue is sooo base level feminist I learnt from pinterest vibes and I genuinely couldn't stand the way the plot went. I'd have enjoyed it way more if the book had focused on the killings and went into detail about the disposal and everything but it seemed like barely any effort was put into that. The stalker part was so unsatisfactory and I wish it had ended up being Charlie tbh. A little fucked up person + fucked up person romance.
Also her and Charlie being together despite finding out that he was silent knowing everything about the women who were SA'd. Love is blind and Kitty's morals and feminism are non existent when it goes against her world view I guess. I was excited for this book and loved the premise but it's just a huge let down
