"So now she's seen it. She knows what's out there. It doesn't make anymore sense than it did before, but at least she can move from horror - the fear of the unknown - to terror - the fear of the known. Terror is almost a comfort at this point, a familiar friend."

I went into this purposefully keeping my hopes low because I've been too excited for thrillers before, but this one was GOOD.
Personally I loved:
- The writing
- The variety of characters
-
Spoilerthe creature oh my fucking god, the way it's described makes me want to WRITE

- The ending !!!!!!!!

Genuinely not a scary thriller overall, it has gore ad horror elements but I wouldn't really call it a horror, but there are some really good twists and I was sitting on the edge of my seat screaming at the characters to realize what I already knew!
I had such a fun time reading this and will be keeping an eye out for her future thrillers!
