The Wandering Earth
by Cixin Liu
Solid collection of short stories. To me, unfortunately, they only had big universe altering implications. I guess I just wanted some that did not involve the destruction of Earth or the human race. That being said, the stories were mostly all good. I did like that a couple involved advanced civilizations digging versus reaching to the farthest reaches of space. It was a good break from the same sci-fi tropes.
The book being short stories, it took me a little while to read the book. I would read a story, move on to another book for a little bit, read another story, etc. However, I found that I could remember all of the stories in the end. Even the subpar stories were memorable.
Only giving it 4 stars because of the couple of subpar stories, overall the book is a great read for any Cixin Liu fan, or any sci-fi fan in general.
