My Neighbor's Secret: Alternate Cover
by Lauren Rowe, Lauren Rowe
This story is absolutely outrageous in all the best ways! It’s such a zany, spicy and feel good romance.
Charlotte and Auggie don’t have the best meet cute, Charlotte’s quite rude to him actually which is out of character for her. Their dynamic changes fairly quickly and the two embark on a unique money making venture together. It’s hilarious and so very spicy. The different scenarios are hysterically funny, I haven’t enjoyed a RomCom this much in awhile.
I’m seriously in love with these two generous, funny characters and their madcap story.
There was a small part of the story involving Auggie’s grandmother and a man that brought tears to my eyes with its sensitivity and beauty.
The romance is unique, there’s an end date to Charlotte’s time in Seattle and she makes sure to remind Auggie of that often.
Charlotte is a force of nature and Auggie adores everything about her. He is so swoon worthy in so many ways, most of all his plan to be a Veterinarian for animal rescues and his love for his late grandmother’s three legged dog.
Both characters are fantastic, I think they were written multidimensionally so well, especially with the all wild humor and situations going on.
There’s character cameos from the authors other books/series that thrilled me.
It has humor galore, spice that’s never repetitive and it has tons of heart. This book made me laugh and feel so much joy. It’s a forever favorite!
